Status for TikTok – As organizations like Meta and Twitter are downsizing, Tik Tok seems to be expanding, as the social media platform has publicly announced that they are still hiring new employees.
When news broke of the microblogging platform laying off employees, Tik Tok’s chief executive officer, Mr. Shou Zi Chew, confirmed that they are actively hiring and wish to add new people to their team. – Status for TikTok
They have publicly stated that they will be bringing 3,000 new engineers from across the globe to work for them.
Status for TikTok – Addressing the issue, Mr. Shou stated that his company has always put great effort on recruitment and tries to obtain the best possible employees.
Status for TikTok – Furthermore, the CEO noted, all the things remaining constant, Tik Tok was earlier and now is intending to bring on board new team members. However, witnessing the constant changes on a macro level in the technology sector, they are going to change the rate of hiring to a more controlled approach rather than high volume.
Despite Tik Tok lacking a head office, the company has set up offices in New York, London, Los Angeles, Dublin and one in Singapore as well.
